Peacock Vase

Learn about Louis Comfort Tiffany at this one-hour virtual lecture taught by Page Knox, art historian and Lecturer for the Education Department at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York CIty.  Ms. Knox will use the collection of Tiffany Studios decorative items belonging to the Museum to explore Tiffany as an artist and innovator in the field of decorative arts.  This is an opportunity to look at dazzling images of Tiffany Studios glass, lamps, leaded windows and creative bronzeworks.

This class is offered through the Scarsdale Adult School (SAS), an independent, pre-eminent, not-for-profit organization offering a wide range of courses, lectures and cultural activities.

Page Knox is an adjunct professor in the Art History Department of Columbia University, where she received her PhD in 2012. She is a Contractual Lecturer for the Education Department at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where she gives public gallery talks, teaches courses for membership, and lectures in special exhibitions as well as the permanent collection.
