This magenta colored footed bowl rests on a opaque irridescent stem base and has a quilted pattern with a crackle edge. It is made of opalescent glass, also referred to as "flashed glass" or "pastel glass", which is produced by covering the heat reactive glass with colored glass. This piece stands out for its combination of quilting, magenta color, and iridescence. Underside of base inscribed: L.C.Tiffany Favrile 1561. Diameter: 8".
