Description

An unusual iridescent plate with a peacock-feather design.  The peacock motif was favored by Louis C. Tiffany, TIffany Studios incorporated versions of peacock designs into vases and lamps, and less frequently into plateware.  A similar plate is in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, NYC., and the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.  Inscribed: L.C.Tiffany Favrile. Diameter: XX".
